Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, purchasing through, or using CanvasBooth, you agree to these Terms of Use and the rules of the store that distributed the app. If you do not agree, do not use CanvasBooth.

2. App and template license

Low Orbit Labs grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use CanvasBooth on supported devices under the applicable store rules.

You may use photos and finished designs you export from CanvasBooth for personal or commercial projects. You may not resell, redistribute, extract, or repackage CanvasBooth’s bundled templates or assets as standalone design resources unless a separate license explicitly permits it.

3. Your content and acceptable use

You retain ownership of photos, designs, and other original content you create. You are responsible for having permission to use any imported image, font, logo, trademark, likeness, or other material.

Do not use CanvasBooth to violate law, privacy, copyright, trademark, or another person’s rights; distribute harmful or unlawful material; interfere with the app; bypass purchases; or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Purchases, refunds, and restoration

Grain is the free collection. Halide and Obscura are optional auto-renewing monthly or annual memberships in the native apps. Halide includes Grain plus its curated premium templates; Obscura includes the complete template collection, premium photo looks and film finish. Prices, currency, billing period, taxes and any offer terms are shown by the store before you confirm a purchase. Apple or Google processes payment, and RevenueCat validates access. Previously purchased individual templates, bundles and Full Collection rights retain their original scope.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple or Google account before the renewal deadline shown by that store. For Apple subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your membership in the store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation takes effect under the store’s rules; expiry does not delete your local projects or photos. Access to premium features may end when the paid period expires.

Restore purchases while signed in to the same store account used for the original transaction. Access may depend on store availability and successful validation. On the web, configured Midtrans/Paddle checkout processes one-time purchases. Final total and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Web purchases unlock the web version only and do not automatically unlock the native apps. Keep the secret recovery code to restore web access in another browser; anyone holding the code may use that access. Refunds, including approved partial refunds, and chargebacks can revoke the product access associated with the affected order. Independent valid purchases remain separate. Contact private support for payment or recovery issues; do not post recovery codes publicly. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Local storage and backups

CanvasBooth is local-first. You are responsible for exporting important work and creating backups before removing the app, clearing app data, resetting a device, or moving to another device. Low Orbit Labs does not operate a cloud copy of your projects and generally cannot recover local files. Browser storage is origin-specific and may be cleared or evicted. Purchase recovery restores access, not creative files. Web capabilities differ from native; native MP4 and full filesystem backups are not offered by the current web editor.

6. Updates and availability

CanvasBooth is provided as available. Features, templates, device support, and store integrations may be improved, replaced, or retired. We aim to preserve valid purchased access as required by applicable law, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted store, operating-system, printer, or third-party services.

7. Responsibility and warranty limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CanvasBooth is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded. Low Orbit Labs is not responsible for content you import, loss caused by missing backups, third-party destinations you select, or indirect losses arising from use of the app.

8. Ending use and changes

You may stop using and delete CanvasBooth at any time. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use and may update these terms when the app, store requirements, or law changes. The effective date identifies the current version.
